BOARD MEMBERS
LaShawn Robertson
President
LaShawn Robertson is the Executive Director of LRTC Training Center, and serves as the board president. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Management from Paul Quinn College, an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education and a certificate in Early Childcare Administration. LaShawn brings over 15 years servicing clients in customer service. She has over 25 years in the insurance industry and currently working with Transamerica Life Insurance company, along with various life insurance companies as an independent insurance agent. LaShawn has over five years' experience working in human resources as a Benefits Specialist, HR Generalist and HR Coordinator. She currently serves on the board for a private sector company called Blessed Wedding Bells.
Gloria Francis
Vice President and Treasurer
Gloria Francis is the Business Development Manager for LRTC Training Center. She has an extensive array of business experience in the Transportation, Oil & Gas and Banking industry. Gloria earned a Master's Degree in Business with a concentration in Strategic Leadership and an Undergraduate Degree in Business Management. She has over a decade of experience in accounting and business administration while mastering strategic management.
Tanai Vault
Secretary
Tanai Works at Cigna Group Insurance as a Group Claims Analyst. She has over 29 years experience in the insurance industry working in claims management, claims examiner, FMLA, ADA and Workers' Compensation. Tanai holds a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Texas Women's University in Denton.
Phyllis Luster
Board Member
Phyllis Luster served in the United States Army for three years with a MOS as an accounting specialist. She was employed at U.T. Southwestern Health Systems for over 19 years working in various departments, such as accounting and insurance. She retired as owner of Rainbow Freight Trucking Company, which serviced the southern states of Oklahoma, Tennessee, Louisiana and Arkansas. For 15 years she was the dispatcher and handled all office administration. Still an entrepreneur, she now owns Polk-Terrace Real Estate Company, which is a collection of rental properties. Phyllis studied at Kennedy-King College in Chicago, Illinois with general studies.
Kevin Coaston
Board Member
Kevin Coaston is the newest board member of the LRTC Training Center. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Jaris Christian University. He brings over 25 years of experience as a Workforce Development Specialist, with the Texas Workforce Commission. His expertise as a state employee was in all aspects of job training and employer development, from basic one-on-one resume writing with walk-in clients, to strategic development with employers regarding location, marketing, hiring, training and employee retention. He has extensive training in several areas, including Project Management, Counseling, Financial Management, Life coaching, Business Development, & HR Generalist. He also has a State of Texas license in Life Insurance, representing multiple companies.

Kevin is an active member of his fraternity Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Alpha Zeta Sigma chapter. He currently serves as Vice President. Was co-founder, COO, and board member of Southwest Longhorn Youth Organization, an institution dedicated to mentoring and developing youth (male and female) from 2007 until 2021. Also, he served in the US Army for 15 years.
